I opened this fanlisting on February 5th, 2005. I chose the name because the game, Metroid Prime 2: Echoes, centers around the battle between light and dark. Day Break would be when the light is starting to overcome the dark. Day Break and sunrise are the samething! :)

A fanlisting is a list of fans of a particular subject. The mission is to find out how many fans there is in the world. The subject of a fanlisting can be pretty much anything, but there can be only one fanlisting for each subject and it has to be approved by and listed at The Fanlistings [dOT] org. The idea of a fanlisting came from Janine Mischor.
The first/current layout features, Samus and a Luminoth! Picture? I used Photoshop Elements 1.0, and Notepad. I got the pictures from various places around the internet, none from the official site though. A few of the images for the codes came from the nintendo.com site.
Of course ... the basic rules ... I try not to be strict.
1 You have to be a fan of Metroid Prime 2: Echoes.
2 You only need a name, e-mail, and country. A website is not required.
3 If you have a website, you need to put up a code before I process your application
(which could take from three minutes to three weeks, depending on when I get time) Despite whatever you might have heard, I DO PERFORM CODE CHECKS.
I DO ALSO CHECK FOR DIRECTLY LINKED
CODES, site will not be linked if site has a directly linked code.
4 If you have a code up when I process your application, I'll put a link on your site.
5 Your site must not be of hate, porn, homophobia, etc. I have the right to refuse linking your site. Tasteful porn is allowed.
6 If any of your information changes, I would love it if you could send in an update form.

Summary from the Bonus Disc:
A Galactic Federation ship has disappeared in
pursuit of a band of Space Pirates. At the
request of Federation, Samus journeys to the
planet Aether, the location of the ship's last
transmission. There, Samus finds herself in an
incredible world where Light and Dark intertwine
in two unstable dimensions. The Light World is
controlled by the Luminoth, a peacful tribe with
a unique and highly developed civilization.
Their four gigantic energy generators are all
that keep the Light World from collapsing. But
that civilization faces imminent destruction at
the hands of the invading Ing Horde, beings born
of the Dark World. If the Ing seize control of
the generators, the Light World will be extinguished
forever. Samus embarks on her mission to defeat the
Ing and to restore peace to Aether. However, there
is an ominous shadow lurking in the darkness, a
shadow which is quietly stalking Samus.
